hollis brown thornton

hollis brown thornton makes really interesting marker drawings of computer games, television screens, and vhs tapes. they're hand touched yet clean with a pallet of nostalgia.

he also makes cool distressed pigment transfers and (with detail) lets you in on his process.

Michael Velliquette

Michael Velliquette makes really intricate, bold, pinata-like cut paper sculptures that are really terrific.

they kind of remind me of what AJ Fosic makes in wood. in fact, i think the two should battle, i can picture it now.
