The library of congress : american memory is a terrific resource for image, sound, and information sharing throughout american history. the above happen to be from southern west virginia in the 90's, but there are tons and tons all over the LOC site, so delve deep and find what ails you.
the library of congress is like 10 minutes from my parents house in the country. they moved to an old bank vault in the side of a mountain!
